A LETTER FROM THE VICE PRESIDENTS OF RECRUITMENT

       Welcome to the University of Georgia! You have already made one of the best decisions of your life, and as any of our sisters will tell you, there truly is no place like Athens. We are thrilled that you have decided to go through recruitment, and cannot wait to meet you!

       The recruitment process is an incredible opportunity for the women of Sigma Delta Tau to share with you just how significant this chapter is to each of them. This chapter serves as a place of belonging, a place of friendship and community, and a place of passion for all of our women. It has encouraged our academic pursuits and successes, fueled our professional goals and aspirations, and allowed us to explore our fullest potential as leaders. Sigma Delta Tau’s values of individuality, connection, engagement, and community are exemplified by each member of the Eta chapter, and we have seen firsthand how the chapter has given us the tools and desire to lead our lives prioritizing these values for ourselves. 

       We know that the recruitment process can be one of high emotions and uncertainty. We hope that through this process, you find a chapter that can give you the once-in-a-lifetime experience that Greek life has given us. Being a member of a Greek organization is an experience unlike any other. It is a community, a sense of belonging, a sense of empowerment, and a sense of a forever home.
